Lotte Duty Free Marks 100 Days of Incheon Airport Comeback with Promotions and K-pop Star Event
Lotte Duty Free celebrated the 100-day milestone of its renewed Incheon Airport store with a ceremony featuring brand ambassador aespa, exclusive promotions, and shopping benefits aimed at capitalizing on recovering passenger traffic.
Lotte Duty Free has reached a 100-day milestone since reopening its store at Incheon International Airport’s Terminal 2 on 17 July. The retailer marked the occasion with a celebration attended by Lotte Duty Free CEO Kim Dong-ha and Incheon International Airport Corporation COO Kim Chang-kyu.
The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided store tour, and a hand-printing ceremony with K-pop group aespa, who serve as brand ambassadors. Customers were offered commemorative photo opportunities.
To drive sales, Lotte Duty Free launched a series of shopping benefits running from 17 July through next month. The weekly Pre LDF Pay offer can be used on cosmetics, liquor, and food purchases.
A Lucky Seat event grants passengers with matching flight seat numbers KRW50,000 (US$34) in LDF Pay for use exclusively at the Incheon Airport store. Unselected customers receive a set of two travel pouches, while those spending US$100 or more receive limited-edition aespa photocards, while stocks last.
The milestone highlights the retailer’s renewed presence under a new ten-year concession at the airport, leveraging rising passenger numbers and differentiated offerings to build momentum.
