London City Airport Appoints Jonathan Rayner as Chief Commercial Officer
Jonathan Rayner has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer at London City Airport. Effective July, he will lead the airport’s commercial strategy, partnerships, passenger experience, and revenue growth.
Rayner joins from Peel Ports Group, where he held the role of Chief Commercial Officer and was a member of the Executive Board. Prior to that, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at London Luton Airport.
Earlier in his career, Rayner held senior leadership positions at Edinburgh Airport, including Aviation and Digital Director. His extensive background spans aviation, transport, and infrastructure.
In his new role, Rayner will lead London City Airport’s commercial strategy, focusing on strengthening airline and business partnerships, enhancing the passenger experience, and driving revenue performance across the airport’s commercial activities.
London City Airport CEO Andy Cliffe said: “Jonathan is a highly accomplished commercial leader with experience across aviation, transport and infrastructure. He joins us at a pivotal time as we build on our strong foundations and move into our next phase of growth.”
