Lagardère Travel Retail Deploys AI Skin Analysis at Three European Airports

Lagardère Travel Retail has teamed up with beauty tech firm Perfect Corp. to offer AI-powered skincare diagnostics and tailored product recommendations at airports in Prague, Rome and Amsterdam, with two more locations planned by the end of 2026.

Perfect Corp.'s Skincare Pro system is now live in Lagardère Travel Retail outlets at Václav Havel Airport Prague, Rome Fiumicino Airport and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Two additional airports are slated to join the programme before the end of 2026.

The tool evaluates 12 skin concerns during a scan: wrinkles, pores, spots, texture, dark circles, redness, oiliness, moisture, eye bags, radiance, acne and firmness. Shoppers then receive product suggestions matched to the needs identified in their results.

The platform currently carries 200 products drawn from 11 international skincare brands. At Rome Fiumicino, the assortment also includes four K-beauty labels.

After the analysis, Lagardère beauty advisors guide travellers through the skincare range available at the participating airport stores. Shoppers can additionally unlock a special discount by scanning a QR code.

According to the two partners, the service is designed to steer customers toward a more complete and personalised skincare routine through an intuitive, technology-led consultation.
