Interparfums Signs 10-Year Global Fragrance License With Puma, Launch Set for 2027
Interparfums Inc. has secured a 10-year global fragrance license with Puma, with the first scents scheduled to arrive in 2027 and the agreement running through 2037.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the two companies confirmed the license will remain in place through 2037. The partnership marks Interparfums' latest move to build out its portfolio of licensed fragrance brands.
Jean Madar, chairman and chief executive officer of Interparfums, described Puma as an iconic global brand that bridges elite athletic performance with culture, fashion and everyday lifestyle. He framed the tie-up as an effort to carry that reach into a new line of scents.
Nina Jacobsen, Puma's director of licensed business, credited Interparfums with a strong record of turning well-known labels into distinctive fragrance propositions, citing its execution, global distribution and consumer understanding. She said the partners expect to draw on Puma's cultural relevance, energy and international appeal to build a fragrance aimed at consumers worldwide.
Based in Herzogenaurach, Germany, Puma previously held a beauty license with L'Oréal, which took over the business from Procter & Gamble in 2015.
The Puma deal follows Interparfums' announcement last week that it had extended its license for Roberto Cavalli fragrances by another 20 years, taking that agreement through 2046.
