Hermès opens new boutique in Nagoya, Japan
Hermès is delighted to announce the opening of its new store in The Landmark Nagoya Sakae on 11 June 2026. The store is inspired by Japanese culture and textile traditions.
Set across four light-filled floors with contrasting fabrics and colours, the generous space invites visitors to explore the house’s sixteen métiers. Double-height windows framed by a moulded glass structure draw attention to the exterior façade, brought to life by a curtain composed of nearly a thousand hand-woven cotton threads, hanging like the fibres of a loom in a sweeping, graceful motion.
This poetic installation, visible through the expansive glass surfaces that reflect the changing light, evokes the movement of two horses galloping.
