Fara Homidi Enters Mascara With Pool Slick Lash Lacquer

Fara Homidi launches its first mascara, Pool Slick Lash Lacquer, a $48 tubing formula with a damp, water-sheened finish, now available online and at Sephora.

The eponymous brand's debut mascara, Pool Slick Lash Lacquer, is rolling out after four years of development. The acid-yellow tube houses a tubing formula designed to deliver a sleek, damp-like finish rather than a heavy or dry look.

Founder Fara Homidi drew inspiration from childhood memories of women emerging from the pool at her apartment complex, with lashes that appeared darker, glistening, and naturally defined. The formula includes plankton extract, pink pepper, and pomegranate seed oil, intended to hydrate and condition lashes while enhancing color.

The standout feature is a precision-curved wand with solid brush fibers, which combs and controls product placement to avoid clumps. The mascara is buildable, allowing wearers to layer it from a subtle daytime look to a more dramatic evening effect.

Available in two shades—Absolu, a glossy black, and Cabana, a walnut brown—the product is priced at $48 and is currently sold exclusively at farahomidi.com and sephora.com. The launch marks the brand's first foray into the eye category, expanding its assortment of buildable color cosmetics.

Homidi emphasized the formula's customizable nature, describing it as different from typical mascaras. The move reflects a deliberate, slower pace of innovation for the brand, focusing on products with distinct textures and multifunctional benefits.
