CNSC to open arrivals duty-free store at Zhengzhou Xinzheng Airport T2

Sinopharm-owned China National Service Corporation (CNSC) has won a concession for a 197 sq m arrivals duty-free store at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport Terminal 2, expanding its presence in the city to three duty-free outlets.

The new concession, located in the arrivals area of Terminal 2, covers a 197 sq m space. It builds on CNSC's existing departures duty-free store at the same airport and a downtown duty-free store in Zhengzhou.

This marks the second time CNSC has achieved a 'three stores in one city' duty-free presence in China, following a similar setup in Chongqing. The company described the win as a strategic move to deepen its foothold in Central China and reinforce its duty-free network across key cities.

Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport serves as a major national gateway for Henan province. In 2025, it operated 17 international passenger routes linking 16 cities in 12 countries, with annual international passenger traffic of approximately 891,000, down from about 1.8 million in 2019.

CNSC, a subsidiary of Sinopharm, has built an integrated duty-free system covering downtown, airport, offshore, overseas and online channels. Between 2019 and 2021, it successively launched its downtown and airport departures stores in Zhengzhou in partnership with Henan Airport Group.
