Birkenstock and Repetto Unveil Ballet-Inspired Capsule Collection
Birkenstock has teamed up with French ballet footwear heritage brand Repetto on a three-style capsule collection under its 1774 line, launching July 16 with designs blending contoured comfort and ballet elegance.
The collaboration reimagines three iconic Birkenstock silhouettes through Repetto’s refined aesthetic. The Arizona sandal features oversized round buckles for a sculptural update, while the Scala style incorporates a round toe, two top straps, and a laced bow reminiscent of ballet slippers. The Opéra sabot is adorned with long ankle-wrap laces, echoing a dancer’s ribbon.
All styles are offered in European sizes 35 to 42 and come in three signature Repetto colors: Iconic Pink, Flame Red, and Profound Black. A unifying Vichy-check gingham pattern lines the footbed, a hallmark of Repetto’s design language.
The collection will be available starting July 16 via Birkenstock’s 1774.com platform, Repetto’s own channels, and select retailers globally. The partnership taps into the ongoing ‘ballet-core’ trend, merging purpose-driven design with ballet craftsmanship.
