Zhuhai Duty Free Reopens Expanded Arrivals Store at Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Port

Zhuhai Duty Free has reopened its arrivals duty-free outlet at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge's Zhuhai-Hong Kong Port after relocating and expanding the space, adding categories and speeding up checkout for travellers arriving from Hong Kong.

The store reopened on 16 October in the core area of the Zhuhai-Hong Kong Port arrivals hall, serving passengers who cross the bridge from Hong Kong into Zhuhai. The relocation and expansion delivered a new retail footprint along with redesigned product displays and upgraded service facilities.

The interior has been opened up and carries a new visual identity, a layout the operator says is intended to make shopping quicker and more comfortable for inbound travellers passing through the port.

With the larger floor area, the assortment now spans fragrances and cosmetics, tobacco and alcohol, food, digital products and health supplements.

Because port passengers typically shop in short windows, Zhuhai Duty Free has reworked the store's internal circulation and the placement of its checkout counters to keep queues moving during peak periods.

The company said the relaunch strengthens duty-free retail infrastructure at the bridge port and supports higher service standards for cross-border spending in the Greater Bay Area.

The refurbished outlet sits on a corridor with heavy traffic: passenger volumes through the Zhuhai Highway Port of the bridge surpassed 31.34 million in 2025, a record high and a 14.3% increase year on year.
