Travel Retail Fine Wine Alliance Returns to Cannes with Expanded Line-Up

The Travel Retail Fine Wine Alliance is making its fifth appearance at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, showcasing wines from its members’ portfolios and welcoming Herita Marzotto Wine Estates as a new member focused on sustainable winemaking.

The alliance now comprises seven family-owned wine groups. Named members include Albert Bichot, Cono Sur, González Byass, Masi, Symington and Herita Marzotto Wine Estates. Together they aim to highlight the role of family-owned wine businesses in global travel retail.

Among the members, Albert Bichot has been family-owned since 1831 and is based in Beaune. The Burgundy house operates six estates and is known for organic winemaking, combining vineyard expertise with négociant-winemaker practices. Its wines are distributed selectively to gastronomic restaurants and specialist wine retailers, and are also served in first and business-class cabins on international airlines, as well as being available in travel retail.

Albert Bichot is exploring new winemaking methods, including the 'Secret d’Océan' project with Grain de Sail, which tests the ageing of Burgundy wines at sea on a sailing cargo ship. The company is also working to reduce the environmental impact of its vineyards, packaging and logistics.

The alliance as a whole will use its Cannes presence to showcase shared values, from sustainability and corporate responsibility to best practices and high-quality winemaking.
