Silver Mirror Debuts GLP-1 Volmira Facial for Weight-Loss-Related Skin Laxity

Silver Mirror has introduced the GLP-1 Volmira Facial, a seven-step, needle-free treatment aimed at skin laxity and dullness reported by users of GLP-1 weight-loss medications. The service rolls out across the facial bar's 10 studios in New York, Miami and Washington, D.C., at $299 per visit.

The treatment, named GLP-1 Volmira, targets complaints from some GLP-1 users that their skin appears less full and less firm during rapid weight loss. It is positioned as a noninvasive alternative that does not involve filler.

The seven steps comprise a cleanse; a professional biostimulating application performed without needles; lifting; nano-infusion using a no-puncture tip; a cold biocellulose mask; LED; and finishing serums and SPF.

Silver Mirror cofounder Matt Maroone said demand came from clients first, followed by the executive team's own experience with GLP-1 medications. He cited roughly 135,000 monthly searches for the term "Ozempic face" alone as evidence of consumer interest.

Maroone added that the company worked through numerous concepts to bring the offering to market. "We went through a ton of different concepts and really busted our butts to get it out because we really wanted to pioneer it," he said.

The facial is available at all 10 Silver Mirror studios across New York, Miami and Washington, D.C. Pricing is set at $299 per visit, or $239 a month through a Volmira membership.
