Omora Beauty Lab Joins Sephora Accelerate 2026 Cohort

Jenna Morales Ledbetter, a 26-year-old founder with a background in public health, will join Sephora's 2026 Accelerate cohort. Omora Beauty Lab, her namesake brand, aims to fill a gap in prestige makeup for pimple-prone and sensitive skin.

The idea for Omora came after a frustrating trip to Sephora, where her go-to concealer was sold out and she could not find replacements that met her ingredient standards for acne-prone skin. She spent close to an hour checking formulas on trusted resources before concluding that no available brand offered what she needed.

The brand name combines her mother's maiden name, Morales, with the Spanish word for love, amor. Ledbetter holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Pitzer College and a master's in public mental health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with most of her career spent in health research.

Ledbetter said she was shaking when she learned she had been chosen, in a video she recorded before the announcement as a way to remember the moment. She is one of a dozen founders selected for the 2026 program.
