Montblanc returns to Singapore Changi with Terminal 1 boutique alongside Gassan
Montblanc has opened a boutique at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 in partnership with retail partner Gassan, marking the Maison's return to the Southeast Asian gateway.
The store sits within Changi Airport's Terminal 1, the busiest international gateway in Southeast Asia, and re-establishes a Montblanc presence at the airport after an absence.
The partnership with travel retail operator Gassan covers the boutique's operation and reflects a shared push to lift the terminal's luxury offer.
The façade draws on the Montblanc Haus museum at the Maison's Hamburg headquarters, using a black fluted header to frame the illuminated Montblanc logo. Inside, a dedicated gifting table area brings together selected pieces from across the collection, positioned as a focal point within the store.
Montblanc South Asia President Jean-Sébastien Gerondeau said Singapore has long acted as a gateway between cultures and that Changi Airport embodies that role more than anywhere else in the world.
He added that the Maison is excited to return to the airport alongside Gassan, describing the boutique as an opportunity to welcome travellers from around the world to the world of Montblanc, which he characterised as rooted in heritage and shaped by the future.
The concept combines contemporary luxury with design elements tied to Montblanc's identity and heritage.
