Montblanc and Gassan open redesigned boutique at Amsterdam Schiphol

Montblanc has opened a 35sq m redesigned boutique in Amsterdam Airport Schiphol's Terminal 2 transit area with retail partner Gassan, offering writing instruments, leather goods and Swiss-made timepieces.

The official opening took place on 21 October at the Dutch hub, where the 35sq m space is located in the Terminal 2 transit area. Gassan, a watch and jewellery specialist, is Montblanc's longstanding retail partner at Schiphol.

Among those attending were Montblanc Head of Travel Retail Europe Jonas Weber-Heyn; Gassan Chief Commercial Officer David Bijlsma and Chief Creative Officer Debora Leeser; and Schiphol Chief Commercial Officer Arthur Reijnhart, Head of Retail, F&B and Commercial Services Hans de Groot, Director Commercial Terminal Tim de Bie and Business Manager Retail Bernard Biemans.

The store design reflects Montblanc's global campaign, The Journey, which explores the connections between travel, personal experiences and storytelling.

The assortment includes Montblanc's Meisterstück writing instruments alongside contemporary collections, leather goods ranging from briefcases and duffel bags to wallets and travel accessories, and a selection of Swiss-made timepieces.

Weber-Heyn described the upgraded boutique as a showcase for Montblanc's full range of craftsmanship, from writing instruments and fine timepieces to luxury leather goods.
