Levoit launches Vital Pet Pro air purifier aimed at pet odors for $189.99

Levoit's new Vital Pet Pro Air Purifier is built around a three-stage filtration system that pairs a washable pre-filter with a main filter and an activated carbon filter. The pre-filter is designed to catch larger debris such as pet hair, while the main filter targets smaller particles and dander.

The carbon filter contains 140 grams of activated carbon and is intended to address odors. Levoit says the machine can remove up to 70% of pet odors in one hour, a claim aimed at households dealing with lingering smells.

A U-shaped air inlet is another design feature, which Levoit says is meant to capture airborne pet hair and particles while improving airflow and helping prevent the filter from becoming clogged.

The purifier is priced at $189.99 and is positioned specifically for pet-friendly households, taking a more targeted approach than a conventional air purifier. After testing the device for a little over a week, it was found to be effective at collecting fur and trapping debris that would normally float around an apartment or settle onto furniture.
