Goldsmiths, Swarovski and Austen & Blake Renew Meadowhall Stores
Three jewellery names have recommitted to Sheffield's Meadowhall, with Goldsmiths, Swarovski and Austen & Blake signing renewals that owner British Land links to double-digit directional growth in the category.
Goldsmiths has renewed its 5,571 sq ft unit on Upper High Street, a space that houses a dedicated Rolex boutique alongside the main Goldsmiths brand. The shop-in-shop presents Rolex's premium watch collection and includes a separate pre-owned section.
Swarovski has recommitted to its 1,223 sq ft store on Lower High Street, retaining its position in the scheme.
Specialist fine jeweller and diamond retailer Austen & Blake has also renewed at Meadowhall, reinvesting in an upsized unit of 1,205 sq ft — close to double the size of its previous space.
British Land, which owns the centre, describes Meadowhall as a leading super-regional retail destination and points to an 8.5% uplift in jewellery category sales, measured year to date against August, as evidence of the sector's strength at the site.
The three deals span accessible, aspirational and premium propositions, reflecting what the landlord characterises as clear demand for jewellery at varying price points.
