Francesco Roccato Returns to Puente Romano Marbella as General Manager
Francesco Roccato has been appointed General Manager of Puente Romano Marbella, returning to the Spanish resort where he previously helped open Nobu Hotel Marbella in 2016.
Roccato first joined Puente Romano Marbella in 2016 and oversaw the launch of Nobu Hotel Marbella, the first Nobu property on mainland Spain. He later developed his career with Rocco Forte Hotels, holding positions in Rome, Florence and Milan, most recently as Managing Director for Northern Italy, where he led the opening of The Carlton, Milan.
In his new role, Roccato said he is honoured to return to the resort and work with its motivated team. He highlighted values such as determination, passion, resilience and integrity, alongside elegance, spontaneity and empathy, as key to making Puente Romano stand out globally as an iconic lifestyle luxury resort.
Puente Romano Marbella is described as one of Europe's most celebrated resorts. The property said that under Roccato's leadership it aims to elevate its international standing, with continued expansion of its gastronomy and significant enhancements to its wellness and fitness facilities.
The resort noted that Roccato brings a rare combination of skills, knowing the destination and resort well, as well as expertise from the top levels of international hospitality, where refinement and attention to detail are paramount.
