Estée Lauder Names Kathleen Mitchell to Lead New London-Based Hair Care Hub
Estée Lauder Cos. has appointed Kathleen Mitchell as vice president and general manager of its newly formed Hair Care Hub – West, based in London. The hub will oversee hair care operations across the U.K., Ireland, Europe, the Middle East, Turkey and India.
Mitchell will report directly to Shane Wolf, global brand president for Aveda and hair care brands, and will serve on the company's global hair care leadership team as well as its U.K. and Ireland executive leadership team.
Described by the company as a "regional center of excellence," the hub is designed to bring together dedicated leadership, commercial focus and market expertise for the hair care portfolio. Mitchell will oversee a central team at the hub and work closely with global leadership to strengthen the portfolio and accelerate momentum.
Her mandate includes building the leadership, capabilities and localization needed to drive sustainable growth for the hair care category across the region. The appointment underscores the company's continued investment in its hair care business.
