CVH Spirits puts Bunnahabhain The Uncharted Coast range in Cannes spotlight
CVH Spirits has showcased its travel retail-exclusive Bunnahabhain The Uncharted Coast collection at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, with the four-expression range including two new releases.
The range comprises four expressions, two of them new, and carries refreshed packaging intended to reflect the distillery's remote and rugged northern shoreline. The collection launched in spring.
Bàgh Garbh, Scots Gaelic for "Rugged Bay", marks a first for Bunnahabhain's travel retail range. The 13 Year Old expression is finished in Amontillado casks and bottled at 50% ABV, with notes of treacle toffee and spiced orange.
Trì Seudan, meaning "Three Jewels" in Scots Gaelic, is the second new addition. It marries Manzanilla, Fino and Palo Cortado sherry casks and is also bottled at 50% ABV, layering depth and richness with the brand's coastal salinity and bright lemon zest.
The updated pack is designed to give the collection a more distinctive look on shelf and help it stand apart in the travel retail space. The range is positioned around Bunnahabhain's signature character as an unpeated, sherried Islay single malt Scotch.
CVH Spirits said The Uncharted Coast is building momentum across global travel retail, with encouraging responses reported from both existing and new markets.
