Cottonball Debuts Six-SKU Skin Care Line Blending Rx Strength With Luxury Feel
Cottonball is launching Sept. 1 with six prescription-strength skin care products designed to deliver dermatologist-developed actives in luxury textures.
Cottonball's six-SKU lineup is set to launch Sept. 1, aiming to combine the efficacy of prescription skin care with a premium sensory experience. Brand adviser Amy Keller Laird, who is also senior vice president of beauty and wellness at Karla Otto, said she wanted the turbocharged efficacy of Rx without sacrificing how the products feel.
To develop the formulas, Cottonball enlisted cosmetic chemist Ron Robinson. All products share a proprietary base of sterol, linoleic acid, and a vegan ceramide to support the skin barrier, plus both high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid.
Dermatology adviser Mona Gahara, M.D., a clinical professor of dermatology at Yale School of Medicine, is also part of the brand's development team.
The launch lineup includes VX.1 Advanced Anti-Aging & Repair Complex, VX.2 Wrinkle-Smoothing & Prevention Complex, VX.4 Daily Skin-Brightening Formula, VX.5 Undereye Smoothing & Brightening Balm, VX.6 Precision Neck-Sculpting Complex, and CX. The products are designed to address multiple skin concerns with a personalized approach.
