Copacabana Palace, A Belmond Hotel, Rio de Janeiro will open a five-storey Wellness Club on 3 November 2026 alongside the grand reopening of its Pool Wing, anchored by Latin America's first Dior Spa.

The Rio de Janeiro property said the Wellness Club will span five distinct wellbeing spaces, opening as part of the relaunch of its landmark Pool Wing. The collection also takes in a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a Pilates and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu studio, a dedicated recovery floor and a juice and nutrition bar.

On the second floor, a new thermal area is built around rest, recovery and contrast therapy, with saunas including infrared, a steam room, an ice bath and an ice fountain.

A private movement and yoga studio forms part of the line-up, alongside a space dedicated to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu where guests can learn and practise the martial art.

Guests who prefer to train in their own suite will find a yoga mat in every room, with access to a team of personal trainers. The hotel is also positioning restorative rituals by the pool and on the beach as part of the wider stay.

Copacabana Palace, part of the Belmond portfolio, has long been known for its parties and social scene in Rio de Janeiro. The new wellness destination is set to open on 3 November 2026.
