Coal Drops Yard signs RunLimited and Martha's for King's Cross mix

London's Coal Drops Yard has added two tenants to its line-up: running lifestyle brand RunLimited, which has already opened, and beauty concept Martha's, due in November, as operator The King's Cross Group continues to develop its 500,000 sq ft retail and leisure offer.

RunLimited is already trading at the King's Cross destination, offering apparel and kit from brands around the world. The store is built around London's running community, with its physical space used to connect run clubs from across the capital and a stated ambition to create a collaborative running brand.

Martha's will follow in November as an entirely new concept for the estate. It is described as a hybrid beauty experience that combines high-end nail treatments with an all-day drinks menu.

The two signings sit within a 500,000 sq ft retail and leisure portfolio operated by The King's Cross Group, which has been broadening the tenant mix at the north London site.

According to the operator, both lettings bring distinctive concepts built around community, quality and experience, and add another dimension to the range of brands and places visitors can discover at King's Cross.

The group also pointed to its own research indicating that discovery, authenticity and quality rank as particularly important priorities for its audiences.
