Chocodate Unveils Destination-Led Travel Retail-Exclusive Packs at TFWA Cannes
Dubai-based Chocodate is presenting a new travel retail-exclusive range with destination-specific packaging across six regional editions at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, led by a UAE pack featuring the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab.
The six regional editions pair the confectioner's travel retail-exclusive offer with illustrated landmarks, landscapes and other local motifs tied to each destination market. The UAE version sets Chocodate's signature purple against warm desert tones, bringing together the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab with palm trees, dunes and a camel caravan as references to the city where the brand began.
Chocodate is a Dubai-based brand and a key part of the family-owned Notions Global group. Its stand is N17 in the Mediterranean Village at the Cannes exhibition.
First launched in 1992, the brand pioneered the chocolate-covered date and has built its identity around indulgence made with naturally wholesome, regionally rooted ingredients. Each piece combines a whole Arabian date, a roasted almond and smooth chocolate, with flavours drawn from its place of origin. The company says the product has since grown into an established confectionery category, with Chocodate holding to its original positioning and helping shape how that category developed.
Amid broader global distribution that puts preferred brands within easier reach outside travel retail, the company argues the industry needs a stronger reason to draw travellers in and convert them at the point of sale. Travel retail exclusives, it says, have a clear role to play in that effort.
