Chanel First-Half Sales Jump 16% on Blazy Collections
Chanel Ltd. posted a roughly 16% rise in comparable first-half revenue, outpacing rivals, as demand for Matthieu Blazy's debut collections drove growth across regions.
Growth was led by the US, where sales advanced by more than 25%, according to a person familiar with the performance. All regions, including China and the Middle East, posted increases during the period.
Chanel's largest division, fashion, grew at a similar pace to overall revenue. The collections by Blazy, who oversees ready-to-wear, haute couture and accessories, went on sale in March and have drawn strong demand despite a difficult geopolitical and consumer backdrop.
The watches and fine jewellery unit leapt about 35% in the half, helped by the Coco Crush line, while watch sales also rose. Revenue at the fragrance and beauty division climbed approximately 8%.
The company is privately held and publishes annual results once a year. In May, it reported 2025 sales grew 1.8% to $19.3 billion. Similar trends carried into July, though the full-year comparison will likely become more challenging, the person said.
