Celebrity Facialists Detail Skin Prep for Academy Museum Gala and Victoria’s Secret Show

Celebrity facialists Mimi Luzon, Keren Bartov and Shani Darden used high-tech devices, precious-metal masks and targeted treatments to ready stars including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Demi Moore and Adriana Lima for two Los Angeles events.

The skin-prep work was timed to the Academy Museum Gala and Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles, where meticulously prepped skin was part of the red-carpet and runway look.

Mimi Luzon worked with Vittoria Ceretti, who attended both events, as well as runway models including Adriana Lima, Irina Shayk, Alessandra Ambrosio, Precious Lee, Jasmine Tookes, Joan Smalls and Elsa Hosk. Her approach combined technology with her signature precious-metal masks.

Luzon’s toolkit included Oligio monopolar radiofrequency for tightening and refining texture, InMode bipolar radiofrequency, and Sofwave for lifting and sculpting the face, neck and body. Luzon, who traveled from Israel for the events, stressed that avoiding downtime was essential and pointed to Oligio’s immediate effect on the jawline.

She layered a 24-karat gold mask over a professional-use DNA mask, massaging the treatment to help absorption. Keren Bartov and Shani Darden were also part of the facialist lineup, with the specialists relying on high-tech devices, targeted ingredients and customized treatments.

The details show the mix of medical-style devices and luxury skincare used to prepare stars for high-profile appearances, with immediate results and no downtime prioritized ahead of the cameras.
