Cartier and CDFG open relocated Shenzhen Bao'an airport boutique

Cartier has opened a relocated boutique at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport in partnership with China Duty Free Group, reinforcing its presence at the fast-growing Chinese aviation hub.

The redesigned store, opened on 19 August, sits at the heart of Terminal 3's domestic departures hall. It offers the house's jewellery, watches, leather goods, fragrances and accessories collections.

The boutique blends Cartier's signature design codes with architectural and decorative elements inspired by Shenzhen's dynamic urban landscape. A straw marquetry feature wall depicts the Shenzhen skyline alongside Cartier's emblematic panther.

A champagne-gold facade presents fluid, undulating patterns that reference the coastal city's connection with the sea. Inside, warm wood detailing and gold finishes create a luxury atmosphere celebrating Shenzhen's balance of nature and modernity.

Wave motifs further echo the city's coastal identity and forward-looking spirit. A dedicated consultation area provides an intimate space for personalised client interactions.

The relocation underscores the partners' shared focus on elevating the airport retail experience at one of China's busiest aviation hubs.
