CapsuleTransit launches tech-integrated Sleep Lounge at Kuala Lumpur Airport
CapsuleTransit, owned by CHG, has opened a 111.5-square-meter Sleep Lounge at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1, featuring 38 smart pods with sleep-monitoring technology for pre-flight rest.
The new Sleep Lounge occupies 111.5 square meters in the T1 Departures Hall and contains 38 pods. Guests also have access to private bathrooms, locker storage, and a coffee station. A self-service kiosk enables quick check-in.
Each pod is equipped with a central control tablet that lets guests customize their sleep environment. The adjustable recliner bed can be set to flat, reading, or zero gravity positions, while adjustable mood lighting and pink noise contribute to a restful atmosphere.
An integrated sleep-analysis system tracks resting heart rate, movement, and snoring during rest. If snoring is detected, the system automatically adjusts the bed position to minimize disruption.
CapsuleTransit, which is owned by CHG, says the facility expands its airport hospitality offering, providing travelers with a place to recharge before their flights.
