Aspire Debuts Dual-Tier Lounge at Vilnius Airport as Swissport Takes Over Operations
Swissport-owned Aspire Pre-Flight Hospitality has opened a refurbished lounge at Vilnius Airport, bringing its premium Luxe by Aspire concept to Lithuania for the first time. The site is the country's first dual-tier airport lounge proposition housed in a single space.
The refurbished facility gives passengers a choice between the core Aspire Lounge experience and the enhanced Luxe by Aspire offering, making it Lithuania's first dual-tier airport lounge proposition contained within one space.
The opening follows a competitive tender process won by Swissport and brings almost three decades of direct lounge operations by Vilnius Airport to a close. The airport's previous business lounge, which opened in 1997, served more than 1 million passengers during its lifetime.
The redesigned space includes dedicated areas for working and relaxation, freshly prepared food, family facilities and premium hospitality services. Its interiors draw on Lithuania's natural and cultural heritage, combining local influences with contemporary design.
Aspire Pre-Flight Hospitality operates under the Swissport umbrella, and the Vilnius site marks the first time its Luxe by Aspire tier has been introduced to the Lithuanian market.
Separately, British Airways is preparing to transform its lounge portfolio at London Heathrow, expanding the wave of airport hospitality investment across major European hubs.
